After seeing the Phils take the first two games against the Mets, i have gained back the respect for them lost in the 2-5 homestand that could have been 0-7 the way they played. Sweeping the first place Mets could happen tonight as Cole Hamels is on the mound. His 8 wins tops the NL and is ERA is solid. If Eaton and Moyer were able to hold down the Mets, Hamels can shut them down and the Phils would be 5 1/2 back after the sweep.
One thing i liked about the 4-2 win last night was Rollins homer. he had not homered since April 27 and now has 10. The Phils will need him and his bat to come prepared every night to take over first.
